Due to an aging congregation at the church, Chezcore, Inc. was chosen to be the Construction Manager and General Contractor to design and build a new elevator for the church. Working with the architect and the building committee members, various options of design were developed along with related cost estimates. Once a design was chosen, Chezcore, Inc. solicited quotes for the various trades, which included electrical, carpentry, plumbing, flooring, security system, HVAC, roofing, and painting. Contracts were signed and Chezcore, Inc. managed the project, and self performed the new masonry work. Related to the masonry each stone was cut to size and "rock faced" by hand to match the original structure. The elevator was completed within budget to the church's satisfaction. |
